F.A.Q.

FOR AT THE STUDIO SESSIONS you are welcome to use our meditation cushion and props. However, if you would prefer to bring your own, please do.

 

REGISTRATION BEFORE ARRIVAL. Be sure to complete and submit the Registration and Waiver Agreement before your first visit. And to follow the studio etiquette as you enter the studio.

STUDIO ETIQUETTE to maintain a mindful and peaceful environment please follow the studio etiquette below:

  • Be kind in this inclusive place.

  • Food is not allowed in the breathe room.

  • Shoe and device free studio.

  • Be mindful and leave valuables at home. We are not responsible for any losses.

  • Slippers/Socks are required.

  • Speak quietly.

  • Listen to your breath.

 

CLASS ETIQUETTE arrive 10 minutes before your class! Please turn up with enough time to enter the studio, and be prepared for the class start time. Please note that once the class begins, session will be closed to respect the participants, and honour the silence and flow of the session.

WHAT TO WEAR TO MEDITATION CLASSES? Wear comfortable, loose breathable clothing to seat on a cushion. Bring socks or slippers for your own comfort. 

​

WE ARE NOT A SCENT FREE STUDIO soft incense and scented candles might be present in the environment. Please minimized personal scents.

​

CLASS RE-SCHEDULE If you know you are unable to make your class on-time, email us at zazen@zazenme.com 24 hours before your session, so we can re-schedule your class and make room for other participants in the waitlist.

​

BOOKING SERVICES will become available 60 days before the session starts, and they will close 24 hours before the session begins. Please email us at zazen@zazenme.com for availability and manual registration. You may register in our waiting list here

HOW CAN I ORDER AN E-GIFT CARD? we carry e-gift cards in denominations of $50, $100, $200, and custom amounts. You can order an e-gift card on our website click here to place your first order. Please note: our gift cards are not refundable and can only be used online. A maximum of one gift card can be redeemed online in one transaction. For inquiries, please contact us by email at zazen@zazenme.com

How to redeem an e-gift card? Your e-gift card code can be used at check-out to pay for any of our services. At check-out simply click on "Redeem a gift card" and type or copy your gift card code. This code appears at the bottom of the email you received with the e-gift card. A single gift card can be used multiple times until your balance is zero or expired.

​

What if my e-gift card does not have enough balance on it for my purchase? You can use your e-gift card as a partial payment for your online order. The remaining purchase balance will need to be paid with an additional method of payment. The entire balance of your e-gift card must be used within 24 month from the time of purchase. CANCELLATION POLICY:

FOR MEDITATION AND HOLISTIC SELF-CARE SESSIONS we have a 24 hour cancellation policy for classes, so if you know you are unable to attend, please notify the Studio by email at zazen@zazenme.com 24 hours before your session. Otherwise full booking fee will be charged. All Meditation and Holistic Self-Care sessions are final sale. Please check the service expiry date and re-schedule your session accordingly. Refunds are not available for Meditation and Holistic Self-Care sessions.

FOR EVENTS & RETREATS If you are unable to attend, please cancel 7 days before your workshop is due to start, and we will issue a credit that can be applied towards a next event or retreat. Please notify the Studio by email at zazen@zazenme.com to honour your credit. No credit will be issued after the 7 day window. Refunds are not available for events and retreats.

MEDITATION PLANS POLICY Only one participant per plan account. Note that all plans are final sale, please ensure to use it within the given timeframe of each pass. We are not responsible for any unused benefits after the timeframe has expired. RESET meditation plan is a no commitment program, it will cancel 1 month after your purchase, no cancellation is allowed before the 1 month. RECHARGE meditation plan cancellation is allowed after the first 3 months of purchase. Notify the Studio by email at zazen@zazenme.com 10 days prior the schedule cancellation. Otherwise full amount will be charged automatically to your original method of payment.

How to book for a guest? all guest are required to create their own logging account to book a service.  

​

Can I mix-and-match group meditation sessions? yes, all meditation plans give you the flexibility to book any of our group meditation sessions and mix-and-match bookings. Group meditation sessions are: Body Scan, Kindness, Mantra, Nidra, Healing Sound, R.A.I.N., and Mindfulness Team Session.

Will my meditation plan be renewed automatically?  Only Recharge and Restore plans automatically renew unless you cancel it by notifying us 7 days before the end of your contract period. Meditation plans will renew with no notice or consent from the member. To cancel your renewal please email us at zazen@zazenme.com

What is the difference between a website member and a plan member? A website member will have their own account to manage bookings. All you need to sign up is an email address, to be able to log in and manage your bookings. Plan members can book using a meditation pricing plan and access extra benefits.
