Regular meditation practice is a powerful tool to enhance stress management, making you more resilient, helping relieve your pain, improve your sleeping patterns and brain cognition. It resets the central nerve system, boosting energy levels and nurturing physical and emotional wellbeing. Zazen Meditation offers a variety of practices that you could choose to register for as individual guided classes or use the space for your own self guided session.

Monica is a trained and talented, lifelong meditation practitioner. She discovered meditation at the age of 11. Since then, contemplative practices are a part of her life rituals.
Healing is a self-discovery path, when we take care deeply of ourselves we co-create an environment that is conducive to healing. We are our own powerhouse, we can learn to turn on the inner light. Learning to meditate makes you feel grounded, connected, alert, serene and empowered. When we live our life mindfully we are more balanced and energized. We can co- create space to look at a myriad of possibilities fo find another perspective and follow our soul’s path.

She completed the 500 AYT Ayurveda Therapist Training, 200 Yoga Teacher Training and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. With her own experience and knowledge she uses integrative practices of mindfulness for mental wellness and holistic medicine based on evidence of the sciences of Ayurveda and Yoga. Monica also has extensive training in Yoga for special needs, Restorative Yoga and emotional regulation.
Attend a class with Monica and you discover the warm tone of her voice. The energy and a sense of safeness that her classes are infused with allow everyone to open the space for groundedness, comfort and deep soul connection.
Monica is an active advocate of mental health in her community. As part of her continuous efforts to help break the stigma about mental health illnesses, she has extensively collaborated with and sponsored non-profit organizations including: Defeat Depression Ontario, The Schizophrenia Society of Ontario and Halton Families for Families, CAMH and Youth Mental Health Canada.
